Thunderstorms Cause Flooding at New York State Fairgrounds, Cleanup Efforts Underway
Areas in the western end of the New York State Fairgrounds experienced significant flooding following severe thunderstorms that swept through the Syracuse area on Saturday, August 31. Fair officials have reported that staff are actively engaged in clearing the floodwaters, utilizing vacuum trucks to remove standing water from the affected areas.
