What You Can Do

With your watch connected to your Nest camera or doorbell, you can:

• Access Live Video Feed: Instantly see what’s happening at home by viewing the live feed from your camera or doorbell.
• Receive Notifications: Get real-time alerts on your watch, like when motion is detected, and tap to check the live camera footage.
• Perform Quick Actions: Use features like two-way talk or Quick Responses directly from your wrist.

Getting Started

To use these features, you’ll need:

1. A Google Pixel Watch
2. A Nest camera or doorbell
3. The latest version of the Google Home app installed on your device

Live View on Your Watch

When your Nest cameras or doorbells detect motion, they send a real-time notification directly to your smartwatch. With a quick tap, you can access the live camera feed on your watch screen.

To view live footage, simply tap the Camera device tile and select the camera you want to check. The app will open a close-up view that fills your watch screen. If you need a closer look, double-tap to zoom in, or zoom out to see more of the scene. You can also pan the zoomed-in view by pressing and sliding one finger left or right across the screen.

Stay Alert with Notifications

If you’ve enabled alerts for your Google Nest Cameras in the Google Home app, you can receive notifications with image previews on your watch too. This feature works with Nest cameras and doorbells released in 2021 or later. To make sure you’re receiving these alerts, verify that Nest camera notifications are enabled in the Google Home app and that notifications are turned on for your Google Pixel Watch or any compatible Wear OS watch.
