Fifth Edition Of Chipotle IQ Trivia Challenge Kicks In

Chipotle has launched its annual Chipotle IQ trivia challenge, offering customers a chance to win free burritos. This year marks the fifth edition of the quiz, which tests participants’ knowledge of the company’s ingredients, food practices, sustainability efforts, and brand history.

The trivia game, which began on Tuesday, August 20, will run until Thursday, August 22. During this period, Chipotle will distribute 5,000 buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) codes every hour to the first participants who score a perfect 10 out of 10. The quiz is open to Chipotle Rewards members, and winners can redeem their BOGO codes in-store, via the app, or online. However, these codes must be used by August 29, 2024.

Chipotle’s Chief Brand Officer, Chris Brandt, noted the popularity of the quiz, with over four million plays since its introduction. He highlighted that the quiz is a way for the company to engage with customers while offering them a chance to win free food.

To participate, customers can visit the Chipotle IQ website and log in using the email associated with their Chipotle Rewards account.

In addition to the BOGO codes, participants who achieve a perfect score can attempt an extra credit question. Answering this correctly enters them into a draw for one of 50 “free burritos for a year” prizes, which equates to one free burrito per week for a year.

Those who score 7, 8, or 9 out of 10 will receive 25 bonus rewards points, while supplies last. Chipotle plans to distribute 300,000 BOGO codes and 52 free burritos to each of the top 50 winners, with the total value of prizes exceeding $1 million.
