Louis Vuitton is strengthening its connection to the sports world by announcing British soccer sensation Jude Bellingham as its latest brand ambassador. The luxury brand praised Bellingham for his authenticity, ambition, and commitment, both on and off the field, qualities that align with the values of Louis Vuitton’s community of champions.
Bellingham’s partnership with the French fashion house follows a remarkable debut season with Real Madrid, where he played a pivotal role in securing three major trophies, including the coveted Champions League title. His outstanding performance also earned him the La Liga Player of the Season award, making him a strong contender for the prestigious Ballon d’Or.
As the new season begins, Bellingham is once again in the spotlight, now playing alongside fellow star Kylian Mbappé. To celebrate his new ambassador role, photographer Gabriel Moses captured Bellingham in his iconic open-armed goal celebration, creating a series of images styled by Matthew Henson.
Bellingham’s association with Louis Vuitton is not new. At last year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, where he received the Kopa Trophy for the world’s best under-21 player, he donned a Louis Vuitton double-breasted blazer with pearl buttons and flared trousers. He also attended the debut show of Louis Vuitton’s menswear creative director, Pharrell Williams, in June 2023.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Williams remarked, “I’m thrilled to welcome Jude to the Louis Vuitton family. His charismatic presence and achievements on his remarkable journey will significantly enrich our LVers community.”
Recently, Bellingham was recognized by GQ readers as the most stylish player of the Euro 2024 tournament. He also made headlines with his appearance in a Skims men’s underwear campaign in June and the launch of his first signature collection with Adidas Originals.
