Oppo is stepping up the game with their latest foldable, and we’ve got an early peek thanks to Zhou Yibao, the product manager for Oppo’s Find N series, who shared a render photo on Weibo. The image shows the device fully unfolded, and honestly, it looks like it could rival a tablet, probably boasting a screen that’s at least 10 inches. Perfect for those who love a big display!
Now, if we take a closer look at Oppo trifold leaked photo, the back though it’s partially obscured we can spot a thicker hinge on one side and a thinner one on the other. We’re guessing the side with the thinner hinge folds inward, while the thicker one folds outward, letting you use the phone even when it’s folded. Oh, and did I mention? The back has a rather sleek, leather-like finish. Quite stylish, don’t you think?
The display itself seems to have very minimal bezels, which should make for a rather immersive viewing experience especially with a screen that size. However, Zhou Yibao didn’t give us much more to go on. The render doesn’t show what the cover display might look like, nor does it reveal the rear camera setup. So, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for those details.
Interestingly, Oppo isn’t the only one exploring tri-fold designs. Just in the past month, we’ve heard similar rumours or announcements from Huawei, TECNO, and Xiaomi. Foldable phones have been around for over six years now, and it looks like tri-fold devices might be the next big thing in this ever-evolving mobile phones space.
